Free internet domain hosting

Couple of days back, I tried to register for a domain name. I wanted only my name in the domain. But where ever I went, it said domain name that I wanted is unavailable. Then I came across this .tk domain. Luckily I got the name that I wanted to register for www.chaitanya.tk. It was strange, since .tk was supposed to
be registered for a country. Then I searched over the net and found some details. tk domain is registered to island of Tokelau. This is a small island near New Zealand. The government here is purely dependent on funds from New Zealand government. A substantial portion of Dot TK's revenue is used to fund communication and educational projects on the island of Tokelau. Quite impressive indeed !!
